The
United States Playing Card Company Acquires Hoyle Products
Division

March 15, 2001 - The United States Playing Card Company
announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the
Hoyle Products Division from the Brown & Bigelow Company, based in
St. Paul, Minnesota.
All the assets of the Hoyle Playing Card
Division have been transferred to The United States Playing
Card Company "USPC," including the popular "Hoyle Official," "Maverick," and "PGC" Brand playing
cards.
USPC is a privately held
company and is best known for its Bicycle Playing Cards, which have
been the best selling playing card brand for over 100 years.
Based in Cincinnati since 1867, USPC specializes in
the manufacture and distribution of playing cards,
children's card games, collectible card games and card
accessories.
